Just pulled the trigger....

I might order like 2 or 4 of them and slap them into my current 3x3 setup to get even more uniformity/penetration/efficiency, I wish I could afford to buy enough for a whole other setup though

Why did you go for the single rows, are you going to grow a sea of green?
I still say I would buy a 3-row strip if they made one.
Stephen was talking about new LEDs that are pushing 3.4 or something micromoles per Watt, this weekend on the GML show. Those are like near half more efficient than what we have now.
I'd like a double row of those... :)

Why not single row? You can buy 2 single row for price of 1 double row. Better spread. I really want to know your reasons, because I am building light in near future.

Pretty sure u can almost get 3. For a couple more cents. On digikey the double row are 27+$

You can grow a taller crop with a brighter light source.

I'm having difficulty putting it into words.
Think of a photo, sometimes, one thing may be in focus, and everything behind it and in front of it out of focus.
That area that is in focus, is described as the field of depth. It can be very shallow, or infinite.
The closer you need to hang your lights to reach a specific light level at the canopy, the quicker light will fall off as you exceed that distance.
So we have a similar useful zone that grows in size proportionally to the level of the light and the distance of the source.

Unless you are planning to do a sea of green with small very even plants, the double row will work out cheaper to build and buy and in my opinion will provide superior performance.

If you don't mind trimming a lot of popcorn buds, it is your money.

@ANC okay, intensity then.
I SCROG plants, do you think single row strips at 1.05A can deliver 25-30cm colas which are hard as rock? I can get this now with Citizens 1212 at the same current.
I really don't know yet which strips would be okay for me.

I don't have any single row strips, but I'm going to go with mostly no. Not sure even if with CO2.
My biggest colas with the strips dialed to 100W, are all about 30CM, That being said, exodus never is a big yielder. Interested to see what the final weight will be. But that is still a few days off.
I'm slow drying, and basically busy taking off the second half of the plants now a week after the large colas. Had to stop to clean my scissors and enjoy some scissor pistil hash. I find it easier to wet trim the smaller stuff.

So you have 1 double strip driven at 100W? How long is that strip? Can you post some pics of those 30cm colas you have, just to compare to myself (you can PM me if you don't want public)?

Are you using the 2ft strip? If so how are you getting 100w off 1 strip? Typ. Is 52w at 1120mA. I guess if you ran it at 2100mA that would do it. Seems pretty high to me, but I dont see where there is a max current for the double row so.

That' what I'm running. But in 3000k (10) 560mm single row FB562b strips with a hlg-320-24b driver. Pushing 335 watts. Then I added 4 custom made strips 24" long 144 diodes. Half 660nm HE photo reds and the other half deep red 688nm diodes. On copper pcb. My buddy did the diodes for me. Pushing them with 120 watt driver. All controlled by sonoffs...

10 single strips run @335watts. Puts out great weight for me. No popcorn. I trim all lowers off. But everything is solid and dense.

^^^ 2 foot long. Topped for two mains. Solid buds clear to the bottom. One plant in a 3gal smarty running single rows. I pulled 388 grams from just this one plant. For single row and the 140 bucks i have in my light. I'll take it. But I did just order (5) 96 diode Samsung 30mm wide double rows I may add to my light in 2700k
