im posting here because the full spectrum light link is a high quality CFL for top notch plant growth, and providing cfl to a HID base should turn out nicely.

so you're supplementing you're HID grow with a bunch of CFL's?

yes. using that cfl at first. then when its ready for hid, using both together.


bottom line, for those interested in cfl growing, that light is 'the one' for 20 and 30w cfls

5500k light color, !93! CRI ... almost same spectrum as sun if you look at it, even high red output.

right on, i've got no space or money, or NEED for that matter, for HID. just personal smoke pretty much. get some sticky bud with the CFl's helping out though

im not talking about hid. the cfl's are 5500k and 93cri, also better luminous output than standard 20 or 30w cfl's, i want 30w'ers

the hid will just add to yield is what i'd imagine with more luminous output for the environment provided.

that's what i mean. i was just saying that im staying completely CFL, you don't really need the HID if you're going to start out with CFL's anyway, unless you already own it I guess
