Hello , this is my second ever grow. If you look back at my post history you will see a previous post about my first grow. My first grow was at a different location and I had more room and I used HID lights. I yielded about 2lbs of nice buds and about 1lb of popcorn

This my second grow is in a new location , It is smaller and I don't have the ability to cut holes in walls and add venting , so I am using a Panel with 6 T5s and a secondary side light with 2 T8s . I do have fans in the room and I leave my opening open enough to allow fresh air to enter the grow space most of the day , but at night I close it so that it does not brighten up the adjacent room .

I have included pictures of my grow , I have 4 plants . 2 are Deep Purple Strain and the other 2 are Grape Ape strain. They look like they are about a foot tall one of them is taller and one of them is kinda shorter but on average I would say the canopy is about 15 inches so far in the vegetative cycle. They are clones and I acquired them from a dispensary about a month ago and they were pretty small and didn't have many leaves on them, so i think they are looking good and growing well .

I am using Fox Farms Ocean Forest and have them now in 1 gallon pots , they have been in these pots since I acquired them a month ago.

As they are now I can raise my lights up about another 2 feet maximum .

So my questions are : 1. Should I transplant these into bigger pots ? what size pots and when should I do it?

2. When would you guys trigger flowering after seeing my set up and knowing my details?

3. Currently haven't used any nutes , just PH balanced water at 7.0 , should I begin using nutes at any point, or just rely on the soil for nutes after another transplant?

4 Considering the verticle space I have in my grow room , when would you start flowering?

Please see my pic and any help is greatly appreciated

I am a big user of T5 lighting, and think after years of T5 and T8 they are very cool ....lol excuse the pun ...lol
considering the size of your grow room, I'd look into the SCROG/SOG grow method, not a big fan of that myself, could be suitable for you, if you are renting why not use a closet, but buy a door used or otherwise to fit input and extraction ventilation, to the door rather than making holes in the walls ....? the closet door will be replaced with the original at the termination of your lease ....?
as a user of T5/T8 look into the color od your tubes ...Kelvin, cool white 6500k and warm white 2700k are the best for canna, many others will debate this, or just use 4000k daylight for both veg and bud, tho a mixture of 2700 is best for bud.
Please keep the tips of your plants very close to the tubes, get a lum meter to see what I mean.... you would be amazed how little light the plants actually get with a T5, I get my to within 1-2 inches, and remove all lower leaves further than 8-12" from the tubes, as a T5 user your concern is with the FIMMING and canopy as your grow spots.
I hang my T5's /T8's on chains and adjust daily or put the pots on VHS boxes to raise them to the tubes ....good luck
