Stupid supply shop has back ordered my T5 floresencts for cloning (-1- 2' 4 bulb 96w and -1- 2' 2 bulb 48w). My dad is going into LA tomarrow to pickup some clones. Will it be ok to grow them under my 600w HPS for now untill the T5's come in?

correct me if im wrong but i would just have them under the HPS just bc its more lumens... But im not sure if ur little clone would prefer the T5 light until they grow older, or you decide to flower them.

You don't have to have T5's. Just run down and get some cheap T8 shop lights at lowes or home depot. A 2 bulb 4' light is like $12. Hell, I used to grow in my closet with T8's...even through the flowering stage. But to answer your question, you can grow under the 600w HPS. I just wouldnt do for a long periond of time.

CFLs also work. My sig has a link to a thread I made about them. Has a chart for different wattage bulbs, how much coverage, etc. 6500K daylight. Use just one near your plant, it'll help keep upto 4-5(surround the CFL) from stretching under the HPS.
