just harvested one of the girls

this was my first harvest since switching to hid im very happy with the results still got 3 more girls that will be ready in about a week

What strain are you growing? How did you decide it was time to harvest? It looks to me (I'm looking at a picture, you're looking at the buds!) like you might have pulled the plug a little early.
 
yeah I did pull that one a lil early a week actually had to make room in the flower tent others will be finishing the last week up

yup for sure cant wait to get the next batch going got another going into the flower tent 2moro will be the last of my afgani clones
 
Does this mean your a cfl hater now?...if your gonna get rid of your cfl's, i need a few more, for my newest cfl/t5 combo diy fixture Photo02280901.jpg..haha.....just messing wit ya!:lol:.....What do yall think of my newest creation???..........back to your harvest:) looks good ,dude! at least a couple z's.....SOOO....are you gonna do a hps/cfl side by side??
 
I for sure will do a hps/cfl side by side prob not this upcoming run but the next ill let you know should be fun

Hey Gro, I didn't catch what watt,I assume,hps do you got?Are you gonna have comparable watts in flourescents?.....just curious.l8r
 
ill update again when I chop the other girls this harvest was my smallest plant flowerd from rooted clone lst all through flower the other 3 will put this harvest to shame

Those are Lights of America brand 23" single t5 bulb(4100k,14w) fixtures from wal-mart....it doesn't say but I think 1200 lumens,....because I have a 10/pk of 3000k that are 1200 lumens......im trying to dwindle down my wattage and get the same results...ha!...or add it to the collection and grow more plants :lol:

you still need to add 6 more CFLs for side lightning and Im also sure you can squeeze in a few more T5s :D

looking at the fixture agin, I would probably grow 3 plants in a row in the middle of the fixture (T5 bulbs is also strongest at the middle) and then maybe remove the outer CFLs at the sides and add em vertical for side lighting instead
