just got back from mars volta show

they played a lot of francis mute, and a lot of their last 2 albums but they played one old song from one of their first lp's
 
yea man you should def go see one of their concerts it might be one of the best shows you see. They're actually pretty good live and don't sound all janky.
 
I'm seeing them in october, would you recommend shrooms for this? I've done them once before and loved them. at bonnaroo!
 
TMV is the SHIT. Cedric and Omar are a combination of greatness, and has revived the jam-band idea so fucking well. Deloused is still one of my favorite cd's ever, and Frances the Mute was such a great album to burn to and space the fuck out.
 
i know so awesome! and yeah the show rocked but the crowd isn't too crazy so it's laid back enough for tripping i think

I've always wanted to dose and see them live, but it seems like the closest venue they'll visit is in NYC, and I know that if I dose, I'm going to lose track of where I parked and where the hell I even am. Trying to navigate out of a crowded NYC parking lot after a concert while tripping face, is not something I wanna have to experience, haha.
 
yeah i could imagine. luckily i live close enough to the venue itself....so no problems there! Mars Volta is also DEAD ON live. and the effects and colors of their background do make for a great trip. i was on cid.
