Im 23 days into bloom, i Just found one random open male flower on one of my females. I always check for hermies and just one say it's their and open. I pinched it off, is this going to cause the rest of my plants to be full of seeds? Or maybe a few under developed here and their? I check thenplants again good and see nothig else, should I keep the plants and check
Often for male parts? But will it be okay to leave it in my crop with the rest of my plants

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe seeds will only be produced if the male parts actually mature, open and release it's pollen!

Hmm. I know on my precious grow my plants did the same thing but it was literally the end of the flower stage so had no effect. From the advise I was given seeds appear about a couple of days!

Only time will tell. Unfortunately, if it was opened and empty then its likely pollen was released onto surrounding bud sites. Even more unfortunately, if a fan was blowing on it then that could have spread the pollen around even more to basically the whole plant.

I was basically told if a single one opens it will almost without fail get every plant in the surrounding area! It release A LOT of pollen.

Might be worth segregating if possible. If it hasn't spread to other plants, I'm assuming you have more than one as you said one of your females!

It was open. But not sure if pollen was spewed everywhere.
You can tell if it dropped the pollen by looking at the bananas dangling below the umbrella. If the bananas still have a tight banana shape it hasn't dropped yet, if they are shrunken and and look like an empty balloon/sack then they dropped the pollen. That happens roughly within 12-24 hours after opening.

Should I just remove/kill te plant? I just check it again and I'm seeing more seed sacks developing on her. Could I just remove all sacks or it isent even worth it? I have 8 other plants in my crop? What would you do

Well I'd definitely get it out of there. I'd say you can definitely rule that plant out. Just have to keep a serious eye on the others

That question comes up regularly, is it "worth" it. In your case, since you have 8 other plants, I would probably kill it asap. Spray it down with water, put a bag over it and throw it away. If for example you had 2 plants and they were both different, or it's somehow a special pheno you really want to finish, then it might be "worth it". I've done it once, removing nanners for weeks, it's a pain in the ass. In short: yes remove it.
