Just Found Buggsss, Please Help

So I have noticed over the past few days that I have bugs on my plants. They are grrenish in color and about the size of a small fly. I found one like 3 days ago and today I found 3. I figured somethign was up because the leaves began to change color and a few on the lower nodes on the plant began to look like they were dieing. I dont know if this helps anybody, but today the one I caught I watched him like dropping 2 little drops on the stems (im sorry but my best description would be that it looked like he kinda shitted). Anyways, what can I do to get rid of the bugs? I have heard of neem oil, what exactly is that? any other suggestions? THX

Yes neem oil is good. Also either some liquid dish soap with a a bit of vinegar works great. I had a bad infectation of some kind of flying bug and I used some Dr. Bronners liquid peppermint castile soap, added a bit of vinegar and took my plants outside and sprayed them down. I then cleaned out and disinfected my grow room. This is very important to get any eggs or little babies that you can't see.
Well it worked great. Problem solved and my plants look great.
