just flowering need advice

i just started flowering im in my first week and my tallest plant of the four has show its sex first and its female showed pistils ... but the last 3 have not shown yet .... i was just wondering if anyone had any advice on flowering like tricks and stuff and stuff to increase yeild? anything would help as i am a new grower thanks in advance for the comments

What kind of lights do you have? From the looks of the pics I would say you need more light for flowering. Those plants look stretched.
 
yeah im picking up 8, 42 watt cfls this week and hookin em up and gonan put those lights down around the bottom of the plants to give it light from around and at the bottom thanks for the tip
 
Bro...You are growing SATIVA. Great buzz & all, but those little bitches will do you in! Do yourself a favor & DO NOT let them get very much taller. They are a pain in the ass to grow and very finicky. Trust me...mine is 38" tall & 3rd week of flowering. If you have all the time in the world, then continue on....but....Wait til you have female pistils showing on most noids, then start your 12/12 lights. Use a great fertilizer & let it rip! The very best of luck Bro.!!
 
i already started the 12/12 a week ago because i was worried about the height i started them on 15-30-15 fertz and topped once of the plants so it stayed shorter than the rest only at 16inches now so it will be smaller one of the plants has showed its pistils the tallest one (the one in pics 3-5) so thanks for the advice
 
more light more veg time on your next grow just my opinion, those plants are way stretched how long did you veg for
 
i know next grow will be alot better i only vegged em 3 weeks cuz there getting too tall for my closet so i had no choice next grow im gonna wait 6-8 weeks and then flower with better lights


there so stretched also because i had shitty lights i have better ones monday
 
Just know man when you get into flowering they are going to easily double in size and they do it quick! So be prepared to do some bending and moving...hehehe.;)
 
mabey i should top the plant???? i did it to another one and it stayed short (well i had to do it the stem snapped, but funnily enough right at the right place) and its still looking good 2 have now shown pistils and im only 1 week 4 days into 12///12 hoping the next 2 will be females

Oh now don't wig out and start topping lol! A little time, patience, and bending will do the trick fine.You are nowhere near being cramped for space right now so just wait and enjoy watching them grow.:peace:
 
yeah im ordering a 400 watt hps light off the internet as well as picking up 8 42 watt cfl's do you think this will be efficeint?>
 
thanks man thats what im hearing as well i think ill be able to grow some alright stuff with it and then get even better lights say my 5th time around
