Hi guys, so I have a 15L bucket and my nutrient bottle says add 2ml per litre of part A so do I add 30ml? Or half strength 15ml? And repeat with part B so full strength 30ml half 15ml? I'm confused! I don't want to over feed my plant but I don't want to under feed her either!

Yes you should add 30ml according to the bottle.

but i would ad 15ml of Part A and 15ml of Part B.

Do you have an EC pen? if not. you NEED one. (to make things easier)
 
Thanks for your reply! I have looked into them ec pens just haven't managed to go to the shop to get one! Thanks for answering my question for the last 2 weeks I have been under feeding even at half strength lol (dumb ass)

Well you should really be putting 30ml of A and 30ml of B.

but because its DWC you can half the nute strength.

if i was you, i would get one. spend a bit of money, get a blue lab truncheon. only need to buy it once and it doubles up as a great mixing tool.

once you get one, you will be able to tell how much nutrients the girls are drinking so you will know if you can increase the nutrient dosage
 
Ahhh that's what they do I have read little bits about them never had someone tell me what they did lol will have to make a special trip to the hydro shop!

you basically add some nutrients to the water you adding... Stick the pen in... it will flash a number i.e 2... indicating the amount of nutrients in the water in relation to the water.

give the plants the new water/nutrients.

in a couple days time when the water has gone down stick the pen back in. if the number has gone up... to say 3.... then that means you only need to add water because they haven't been drinking the nutrients.

if the number has dropped and the water has dropped. it means when you add more water you need to add nutrients with it as well.

simple as that, might not been explained very clear but if you get one ill explain it to you better. it ensures you dont over feed your plans
 
You need a quality ppm and ph pen is you want to do this shit right.

And this is a hard one for the "whoa dude, I'm like growing weed and stuff" crowd. KEEP FUCKING RECORDS!!

Ppm, ph, how much water they drank, observations, etc. Take this shit seriously.

Because when you do, all kinds of revealing patterns are found and you learn to feed and manage your plants without reading bottles or instructions.

I haven't read a nutrient bottle in years. I know I know, it sounds arrogant and condescending but that is just my style. Spend a little money, keep records and read. Read read read.
