Just bought new prop gator bcos for the price it seems better than risking a DIY one. The spray that came with it doesn't spray nowhere near the top where the stem will come thru is this normal? Do the plants get water from moisture in the air or do they need direct contact with water?? Also I'm goin to place a large cfl in a shade above the prop gator how long does the light/ water pump stay on for? 24/7 help pls gutsguts

what kind of unit is that. where did u grab it? maybe a link? .. that doesnt look normal.. most units spray toward the top to hit your roots... also. there are others that just move the water around.. and it works. but it looks like u bought a defective unit.. or just a shity supplier.. and if thats the CASE ... OUT THEM ON EVERY FORUM.. kuz that thing is garbage if there selling witha super tiny pump..

but dude it looks like there is that black screw on the side.. i think that controls the water..; i think if u losen it or tighten it.. to see if it changes the water

I didn't know if they simply survived on the moisture in the air?? Also I'm getting cuttings from a flowering plant apparently takes a lot longer to root?

It's OK at best.

Bubblers with minimum 15 liter per minute + quality air stones will create many times more dissolved oxygen (DO) in the air: perfect for root development

Sprays are too wet creating long spaghetti string roots, which are not efficient
