I thought it might be fun to try 12/12 from seed so 3 weeks into growth I have a short bushy set of twins. I top all my plants now and I plan to top these three times each. They showed pistils at two weeks (which really blew me away) so cool! They are growing at exactly the same rate they're cousins grew at 24/0 except there are flowers everywhere. I continue to use cfl's (500w). I use bio-thrive organic nutes and happyfrog soil with 30% worm castings I produce myself from 100% horse manure. They appear to be perfectly healthy and vibrant. The early flowers look different, they appear to be groups of male pods for about a week then the pistils bloom and it looks normal again. I feed full strength every other day and the plants love every bit of it. I'm impressed with the healthy look of the plants, growing 24/0 never looked as good. I am using seeds which were the result of a hermie kush pollinating Blue Dream clones during a medical grow in NorCal. So far I've grown only females and have seen three different strains appear, all chronic. These seeds have been grown in nearly every style I can conjure as well as lived through some huge mistakes (including a heat-induced foxtailing adventure that caused abnormally massive growth on the main cola's and was better smoke than the normal growth). They rarely appear stressed, even after disasters that have killed my crops in the past. My seeds appear to have all the best traits of both strains. I highly recommend this cross. My only complaint is that outdoors they seem to be sativa dominant and take forever to mature. I cut my down when the first snow fell....this is definately an indoor strain, Blue Dream IS mainly an indoor strain isn't it? My lites are off now, I'll post a pic later.
