just a question

as many factors as you have hair, light switch..too much or not enough, temperature changes..too hot or too cold. too much water, not enough water. over nutrients or the usual reason is the genetics are not stable but turning hermy is also natures way of preserving itself for another generation thru hermaphroditic pollination.
 
okk the dark stage is the main reason why asked, can go in there with a dim flash light with green plastic aroung ther light?? get offf work when lights are off!!
 
DO NOT INTERRUPT the dark cycle. Period. some say green light is OK. But what in there is so important that you'd RISK it?Whatever it is will still be there when the lights come on.
 
any kind of stress to the plant can hermie a plant. some strains are more prone than others from the way they breed.
 
if you can understand light wavelengths then you know the a green light is ok because it bounces off the plant

Yeah, but how narrow is the portion of the spectrum? Green is reflected, granted, but you gonna chance the maker of the bulb is spot on with filtration? Wavelengths could be between 490 to 530 nm. I aint real sure what portion of that the plant is "blind" to. Maybe all of it. I've left my cell phone, cigs, & a host of other shit in the room (off thankfully) and left 'em there until lights on. WHY risk it?
 
didnt check for a week due to lights off, after a week come to see the plants grew into the lightsand lights are burning the plants due to to not checking on them):

you didnt check on them for a week?? geez i check mine at least every other day.
 
hell thats why im tryin to find a way i can work during the dark stage so i can check on my girls hell im starting to fofget what they look like haha i hate not being able to check on them and sure dont want hermies!!

so why not set your timer so your lights are on during the times you can work with them??
