1. 2' X 4' is a decent amount of canopy space to grow 1-2 plants using a 400 or 600watt light. But the height of your grow space is the major determining factor. How much head room do you have in your space?

2. You could configure an aero setup in that small of a space but there are likely easier hydro setups that would function just as well. eg: Ebb-Flow, DWC, etc...

3. There are several popular pruning and training practices that will result in more tops. The two most popular training methods are LST (low stress training) and SCROG (screen of green.) And a couple more popular pruning methods are Topping and Fimming. I'm not going to get into details as a quick forum search will get you more information than I'm willing to spend the time writing out for you. However I do suggest you attempt some form of top-training to maximize your space. (SCROG or LST would be my choice.) SOG (sea of green) is not a "pruning" or training method. It's growing many single cola plants closely side by side.

4. Ballpark for first time hydro grow with a 400w light... 3-5 ounces dry. (that would put you right around .25 grams per watt of light used) I've seen experienced growers produce 16oz off one plant with a 400w light but that is not the standard.

** Side note. If your grow space is enclosed, like a cabinet, then temperature is going to be a major factor if you plan to use a 400w HPS or higher, and it's especially important in hydro grows. Ventilation and temperature control can very easily make or break a grow.

Good Luck crunchy, hope this helps.
