Journal viewing setting?

I've had a couple people tell me they couldn't see my journal. Don't know if i did something to do this, but I'd like to make so at least members can see. Can you direct me to where this setting is exactly?

both parties need to be "dfollowing" eachother in order to see the jounrals

I did not know this...so if you create a journal only way members can see them is if they are following each other. Is that like a privacy feature?
So if you were to unfollow someone you wont see their journal any more?
Just curious how that works...so if someone asks about it.. i can assist them.

like honestly just dont create the journal blogs, they are a third party intergration which hasnt been updated by the developer in over 3 years at this point
it is filled with bugs, theres no straight answer sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt.
