Does anyone Vape?
I've been smoking for years. Harsh joints, dirty pipes, bongs with stuff GROWING inside them and that constant whooping cough. I'm tired of it!! I want to make the switch but every time I vaporize, I get the same result. I only feel half stoned and end up smoking something after vaping anyway.
Last year I got a Magic Flight Launch box as a gift. I was really excited. It's the lightest, smallest, most portable unit on the market. But it won't get me high. I've tried repeatedly ( for up to an hour at a time). All it does is burn my weed and the life of the batteries- tastes like a campfire too.

I know I should switch to vaporizing but want to find a good vaporizer that works and isn't a pain in the ass. Any ideas?

i love my hotbox but it doesnt have a temp control and one would be nice but it heats up so damn fast like 5 min and your ready
but the high is deffinitly different
i prefer a bong
a nice clean bong with a carbon filter is the way to go

I recently-ish got into vaping. Heres some random thoughts from my perspective.

Vaping does not substitute smoking. If you have been a long time smoker, the first time(s) you vape you will be disappointed. And only because you are used to smoking. I was a huge joint man, roll em all day every day. Eventually, I felt my health being affected and got a vaporizer. Basically, I got sick and couldnt smoke...

Went out and bought the volcano. I knew there was a lot of crap on the market and I didn't want my first impression to be based on the device, but on the vapor itself, ya know? Like use a crap Chinese vape and swear off vaping altogether...

Anyway, it takes time to:

1- learn your vape, and figure out how to dial it in to perfection every time.

2- get used to vapor as opposed to smoke. Its kind of like giving a long time smoker nothing but edibles maybe. It takes time to adjust.

Now I vape daily - love it - and roll a nice J every now and then. A couple more bonuses to me are no smell, less red eye, and so much better tastes out of your already great tasting weed. Seriously, I got this candy flavor out of my super lemon haze Ive never tasted before while smoking it. And you can throw the bag in the freezer for a few to get badass cool deep tasty hits.

I dont think it saves weed because im vaping all the time. Theres no point where I have to stop just because Ive had too much smoke.

I was always cautious about online reviews about it. It's like you never know if the guy behind the screen is either trying to sell one or talk himself (and others) into believing its a good investment. I am a tough sale and even though I just went out and got one, I wasn't 'sold' on it right away.

That being said, yes it is worth it. To think of how much crap I am no longer putting in my lungs eases my mind and body. Think of how fast glass gets dirty, plus with joints add in all the stuff from burning paper. None of that on the regular now. I still have love for glass - and J's will never die out, but if you smoke a lot, have good weed, and live longer than a couple of years - its worth it.

I took the time to drive out to my 'local' shop and pick it up there. Call first and support your local businesses.

No problem man. I actually asked a member on here about them and he pushed me in the right direction. So.. cool. Keep the ripple effect going I guess

I haven't bought direct replacement parts yet, but I am sure they are online somewhere. In a pinch, or not even, you can use those Reynolds turkey oven bags.
