John Dingell has a few ideas about how to fix American politics

I honestly don’t think I need to look in the mirror and singularly blame myself for white priveledge but I do think we need to realize what it is and it’s existence, and do what I can to help end it. I fight for better funding for northern schools, I fight for better/equal funding for inner city schools, we really don’t have that where I am, but we have less funded schools. I donate what I can to those individual schools. I don’t do this to give myself a pass, I do it because it’s needed. I take kids fishing that would never get a chance, color don’t matter, attitude does though, piss me off and out you go lol.
Exactly. When it's pointed out that this society is structurally racist and that most white people support it, instead of expressing outrage I ask what can I do about it? I resolved to never let my black and Latino brothers and sisters face alone the racists attempting to march through my city. When the Proud Boys rampage to demonstrate their white power, I want them to face a mass of people who are well represented by white people. There are plenty of like minded people out there. I want pictures of white, black, brown and Asian people standing together in solidarity against those people. I show up at anti-ICE rallies. I knocked on doors this fall in to help defeat some anti sanctuary city ballot measure bullshit.

Mine isn't the answer for others but I think it is fair to say you are part of the solution or part of the problem. Do something to help, whether it's taking kids out on a fishing trip or giving rides to elders or knocking on doors in opposition to some racist ballot measure or something else -- be creative. Don't ask me what to do, get engaged and figure out your own answer.

If that gets a cynical white man angry then so be it. Hopeless cynicism and getting angry at people who simply point out that white racists are white people is exactly what right wing radicals want.

LOL I used to take old people (when I was young) out fishing but soon found out they were mostly cranky and unlikable, that was a great lesson as well.

but what is grape drink ?? The only grape I drink is juice made by Welch's. That shit is delicious and who wouldn't want to drink it. Hell they gave it out at church communion every first Sunday. It symbolizes wine
I think its juice with artificial grape.
