jiffy 7 pellets, pleas help...

i have some jiffy 7 pellets, i took 2 clones, 2.5 weeks in, no roots, now im putting seeds in some.

my question is, are you suposed to have water in the bottom of the container its in all the time?

No that will keep it to wet .Soak them well so they swell up then plant your seeds put the dome on if you have one and water as they start to dry out.

ditto, or in the case of clones, plant when rooted; they root as the pucks dry. the pucks are all i use anymore ;).
 
well mine never really dry out that i notice, and i dont water them. i spray my plant and my dome, is that a nono?
 
do you have a heating pad?


i just spray the plants and peat puck...

no i dont, i used one i had but it went off every 2 hours, it was a bitch trying to keep it up. i need to envest in a germination heat mat but im not going to get one untill i move and have more space.
