Jiffjack Presents: what the hell should I do with my overcrowded tent? +rep to many

Hello, let me get right to the point and then add details towards the end:

-I have a small tent (2'x'2x4') and it has 4 plants in veg, soon to flower, under a 250MH, then 250HPS for flower and its getting kinda crowded!

What do you think I should do to optimize space...

should I sacrifice a plant to make more room? should I give it to a friend to put in veg and take clones later? should I make a clone chamber for one? I dunno.. your thoughts are appreciated.
I'd prefer to keep all 4 and optimize space.. details to follow, then questions

Details:
-250w MH/HPS in 2'x2'x4' tent with very good can fan combination 9carbon filter9 and 4" fan to cool down light (not a tube style) and a 8 inch fan available
-currently can fan filter combo is inside tent and taking up valuable space, same with 8" fan
-strains:
-SAGE
-Kushage
-Emerald Jack
-Grapefruit Kush
-plants are very densely packed at internodes and very short and bushy, maximum probably 8-9 inches
-wanting to be finished, dried, cured for christmas 2011
-seeds went in soil on 9/11/11

My Questions:
1) should i take out the can fan filter combo and put it above, outside the tent, on a shelf sucking air out instead to make room?
2) what should I do to make room for as much bud as possible... sog, scrog, lst, cutting, etc... because I refuse to veg for more than a week more maximum because i can't wait too long they're on their 7th leaf set. Keep in mind I can't stress my bitches out at this stage.
3)if u had to get rid of one, ie. in an emergency situation to make room, which strain would you kill off or give away
4)if I take one and make a veg chamber, if its in veg, will it still smell and what kind of easy CANDID/STEALTH grow chamber would you reccoment (+rep for http link!)
5)any other reccomendations?

++pictures to follow after i get a few responses++

You don't have to answer all the questions if you don't want, just whatever you are strongly opinionated on, unless you want to be a rockstar!

jiffjack and his 4 cumwhores:leaf::leaf::leaf::leaf:

also can you confirm what i've heard:
"keep using veg nutes for the first 1-2 weeks of flower because they are still going to want to veg for the first while, even with a flower light cycle, and keep using a MH light during that time before switching to HPS"
kinda made sense to me because it sounds like letting the plant adapt to the flower stage instead of forcing it into one and stressing it out
PS. the quote is not exact and I found it in High Times Mag

sorry, I need to start up the vaporizer that was inappropriate.... need answers soon because I want to do something about this within the next several hours

as far as nutes go, you should have been weening off the veg nutes the last week of veg. the first week of flower, they should get a mix of both but be careful not to burn them. I would have them under the HPS for 12/12 now.

as far as size goes, that sounds pretty f-ing crowded! i would keep all 4 though for the sake of having different strains. definitely scrog them if you can. and as far as a stealth box, I wouldnt. I would just buy a 2x4x6 tent for less than $100

answer me goddamnit!

lol! i feel this way too sometimes.

Fuck ya 400aZip, thanks for answering, +rep and like to you!
I would ask you to help me on one more issue though, I hear its optimal to keep the carbon filter and fan inside the tent, but will it be better to take it out? there is a shelf above my tent that would hold it easy and then I could close the closet door when the gf's parents come over (for 3 minutes when they look in the room, then put it back open, open the window and lock the door to the room).
basically I really want the blessing of RIU users with their advice that it will be ok to put the scrubber outside b/c its really big and taking up valuable space!

quote from high times november 2011: 21 growroom tips and tricks from the pro's

transitional feeding

"plants don't need flowering food until they've got flowers forming. keep plants on fullstregth veg nutes thru the first week of flowering for indicas and the second week for sativas, then combine both veg and bloom formulas for a week. Likewise plants will benefit from continuing MH lighting for a week or two into the flowering stage" -kyle kushman, HIGH TIMES, cultivation reporter extraordinaire, kushmanveganics.com"

so it seems like conflicting answers... I'd like to hear your opinions on these conflicting approaches to flowering all!

thats some good info from high times. obviously, there are millions of ways of doing this stuff. its all kinda trial and error. my transitional method worked for me last time, but I believe I'll be doing something more along the lines of what you posted. I dont have a carbon filter so my advice is only subjective but I would think that if you had adequate ducting and fans to move the air, you should be able to pull the air out of the tent and send it to the filter outside of the tent.
