I figured it might be interesting (or a flop) to see who people would like to see questioned by congress.

The person who I would like to see early is Simone Gold and John Strand.

If there were supposed to be many more speakers and if the permit for the event was for a longer time, and something about the permit being changed to a march to the capital, that shows that they were coordinating with the rioters at some level when they cut the rally short.

These guys could be in big trouble, it seems there are more patriots behind bars than on the outside! I imagine it's making it easier for the FBI and DOJ to get a squeal deal if they get a preview of their new life for a spell.

Oath Keeper who stormed the Capitol says he was attacked with feces and urine while in jail

Jon Schaffer, an Oath Keeper who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6 and who is also the guitarist for the heavy metal band Iced Earth, says he went through “two months of hell” while incarcerated in the Marion County Jail over his participation in the riot, The Indianapolis Star reports.

According to Schaffer’s lawyer, other inmates “were throwing feces at him and urine at him and threatening his life in a horrible, horrible situation.”

“Shame on us, Judge, that this is happening in our justice system,” Schaffer’s lawyer Marc J. Victor told the judge.

After being arrested on Jan. 17, Schaffer was held at the Marion County Jail until he was transported in mid-March to Washington D.C. to face charges.

During the two months he was incarcerated, Schaffer was kept in “Administrative Segregation” due to his high profile status. But weeks after being locked up, Schaffer said he feared for his life. Jail staff then received an emergency grievance from Schaffer, who said that three inmates were targeting him with death threats.

Seven GOP members of Congress are alleged to have given "reconnaissance tours" of the Capitol to seditionist rioters on 1/5. If that was not done to facilitate their attack on the Capitol, then what and why? Names bandied are Gohmert, Jordan, Boebert, Gaetz, MTG, Gosar, and Biggs

Well some of those tour attendees could be looking for a squeal deal, especially if they are rotting in a jail cell awaiting a conspiracy conviction and facing 10 -20 years. Many have not reacted to incarceration very well and most are extremely desperate and feeling hung out to dry. I imagine some of those in custody now might be willing to testify if they were offered any tours, a republican congress person's ass should be good for a walk or reduced sentence. Then there are things like phone records, texts, social media posts and emails to consider and they could be important too.

If it were true and can be proved, it would be nice to see a half dozen of the worst republicans go down for this shit. They would be replaced by another republican asshole from their district though, the problem is really with the voters who elect these POS.

All of them. I want something akin to Rudy's round Robin of drunks during the voter fraud testimony. Put every single one of these stupid fucks up there so we can mock them.

I remember that photo of the leader of the proud boys on the steps of the capitol before 1/6. Pretty suspicious in hindsight.

Capitol riot committee won't waste time asking Trump officials for testimony -- and will go right to subpoenas

'Trump is not happy': CNN reporter says watching Capitol cops trash former president was 'devastating' for him

CNN reporter Jamie Gangel on Tuesday said that the first day of the Capitol riot commission was not a good one for former President Donald Trump.

In discussing Trump's mindset, Gangel said that the former president must have been particularly angry that he didn't even have longtime ally Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) to make a scene while defending him.

"Donald Trump is not happy," she said. "What happened today is what he didn't want to happen. He did not want any committee, and to your point, he didn't have Jim Jordan or any other allies there fighting back or pushing back."

She also said it must have stung for Trump watching uniformed Capitol police officers trash him and his political movement.

"It also was devastating because four policemen in uniform, four heroes, sat there and in devastating, excruciating detail, talked about how Donald Trump supporters were racist, were violent, were trying to stop democracy," she said. "This was a bad day for Donald Trump."

It really was amazingly different not having to hear all the propaganda sputum from the Republican in a hearing for once.

Donald did it to himself by not taking the bipartisan deal offered, this is his self screwing, he ordered it and Mitch knew what would happen, it would fuck Trump and his allies, so he went along with Trump.

Rep. Jim Jordan admits he spoke with Donald Trump on January 6 but refuses to say what they discussed and claims Nancy Pelosi blocked him from Capitol riot commission because he raised 'fundamental' questions
  • Rep Jim Jordan (R - Ohio) was asked if he spoke to Donald Trump on the day of the Capitol insurrection during a Fox News interview on Tuesday
  • Jordan deflected at first, saying: 'I've talked to the former president umpteen times, thousands. I mean, not thousands–'
  • He then confirmed that he had spoken to Trump on January 6 but declined to reveal what they talked about
  • Jordan also claimed that Pelosi kept him off the committee investigating the Capitol riots in retaliation for comments he had made about her

Republican congressman Jim Jordan has admitted he spoke with Donald Trump on January 6 but refused to reveal what they discussed - after House Speaker Nancy Pelosi blocked him from joining a special committee to investigate the Capitol riots.

Fox News host Bret Baier asked Jordan, the 57-year-old Trump loyalist, on Tuesday if he had spoken with the then-president on the day of the deadly Capitol insurrection.

Jordan deflected, saying: 'I've talked to the former president umpteen times, thousands. I mean, not thousands–'

Baier jumped in asking for clarity, saying: 'I mean on January 6.'

'I talked to the president. I never talk about what we talk about. I just don't think that's appropriate, just like I don't talk about what happens in Republican conferences,' Jordan responded.

He continued: 'So I talked to the president numerous times. I continue to talk to the president.'

Baier once again asked for a straight-forward answer from the Ohio politician, saying: 'No, no. I mean on January 6, congressman.'

'Yes. I mean I've talked the president so many – I can't remember all the days I have talked to him, but I have certainly talked to the president,' Jordan replied.

Evidence Mounts of Trump's Conspiracy w/DOJ Official Jeffrey Clark to Overturn Election Results

More evidence is revealed each day supporting the assertion that Donald Trump conspired with DOJ Official Jeffrey Clark to corruptly overturn the election results.

To prove a conspiracy, there must be evidence that two or more people agreed to commit a crime and then one conspirator must do one thing toward the commission of the crime - called an "overt act."
What we've learned from recent reporting by Katie Benner of the New York Times supports the conclusion that the conduct of Trump and Clark constitutes conspiracy.

In other developments, we learned that the Department of Justice Inspector General's Office has launched an investigation AND the Senate Judiciary Committee held a rare Saturday session to hear seven hours of testimony from former acting Attorney General Jeff Rosen. It seems the investigative pace is quickening and momentum is building for accountability for Trump and company.
