Jack Herer

Anyone here grown Jack Herer.

Just picked up a batch and its a great smoke. I heard its hard to grow.

Pics would be great plus rep for them.

im sorry i cannot offer any pictures, ive grown jack herrer outside, although its not the best thing to grow, its not the hardest plant ive ever grown before (maybe it was my pheno)...amazing resin production, like by week 2 they buds already look like shit that has been flower 5 weeks in my garden, by the end the buds are just crusted man, i shoulda let em go anotherweek but i didnt wanna risk rot so i chopped, im not sure how logn i flowered for cause i dont bother looking outisde/keeping track, id imagine it was at 60 or so days, it definitley could have gone 70 or 75, dude serious resin production, good yielder although i had the sun in my corner, doesnt do as well topped as i thought it would, sativa man great smoke good luck bro, this was last year man im sorry i take lots of pics like at the time but everything gets deleted as i become paranoid every so often and try to clean my stuff up ya know ....anyways i hope this helped

Im trying to figure out which phenos these 3 are. Havnt a clue what sex or anything. Wont know for about a good month and a half yet untill theyre cloned rooted and vegged for 2 weeks then 2 more weeks until sex is determined. My plants are very young yet but vigorous. I dont care if I get a male. Depending on its characteristics I'll use it to make seeds.
But you say its not the greatest strain? You sounded happy with it, what was wrong?

I'm currently growing Jack Herer...check out my diary its in my sig. The phenos I have are taking forever...I'm almost at 7 weeks flowering and they look like they are at 4 weeks flowering. I'm guessing thats what you get with Sativa dom. phenos. its def gonna be a 12+ week strain.

sweet thanks man. Yea jack herer is def a sativa dom.

Got 3 females out of 4 and the 4th one has yet to show preflowers. Could that be a sign its a female...if I remember right males show preflowers before females. That particular pheno has sparkling stems. Ive since cloned the wide leafed pheno and the other resinous female and put them into flower today.

But my question being do these resinous stems and preflowers necessarily indicate how resinous that particular plant will be? The wide leafed plant and the female with the skinnyest leaves look normal.

Heres a pic of the female with the cystolith trichs on the stem and preflowers.

You know i have had a strain from subcool seeds and they also showed the triches on the stems and branches when starting to flower. After that they began to develope more and more trichs on the leaves.

After a while they began to stop production on the stems but kept going on the leaves areound the buds.

So IMO yes i think it does show early sighns of sticky stems and lots of trichs.

Ive been wondering about that for awhile. I just wanted to see if anyone else had a plant with those characteristics. Thanks for the reply.

I just put that momma under the 1kHPS so we'll see what she does in 2 weeks.

what seedbank did you guy get your seeds? i herd sensi has had problems with germ on the high priced seeds.

DR. Chronic. All but 2 germinated and out of those 8 only half made it. 3 females out of 4 aint bad, Im still waiting for the other one to show sex.
