Everything matters you have standard to advanced nute burn, as in theres so much food clogging the roots that they can't get the food(nute def) they need, start by giving your babes a good drenching to my blog: on the art of the flush, next cut back your nutes by 1/3rd for 2 weeks, or until you see a noticeable difference, flush every time every one month to avoid these toasty moments, good to see you have ample perlite to dilute your FFOF and avoid root compaction, just not enough for your urea additives ...lolalso the water is tap if that matters.
is flushing bad??Flushing is not the end all cure. I never flush unless shit really hits the fan.
I have seen thread after thread after thread about flushing do I or dont I? pages and pages of people arguing about it. All I give my plants is water a little sugar and some guano worm casting teas. I don't even ph adjust anymore my tap is something like 8.3 but my soil is home made prebuffered so the ph changes in the soil. All i do is water most of the time so I don't have anything to flush out!In organics your not feeding the plant your feeding the soil microlife. Chems are different if your using fertilizer salt or synthetics(beastie blooms miracle grow jacks classic just for example) you might want do flush at the end.is flushing bad??
I will rule out a k issue because you using grow big not bloom nutrients. i would always rule out other things before I flush. Try 6.3 ph. and get some calmag. i had to use calmag with fox farm because their stuff didnt have any in it.Add the growbig and calmag to the water mix it up then ph adjust your solution. You need a tds meter if your going be flushing so you can check the ppms of the run off water. If your ppms are high in the runoff water then you have a lock out issue because that fertilizer isn't getting used up by the plants its just accumulating in the soil. Then and only then do you need to flush. well balanced soil with a balanced fertilizer never needs to be flushed imogrow big nutes which i havnt given it for like 3 waters. FFOF soil ph 6.4-6.7 typically. i shoot for 6.5 tho.
Thats just the way I handle it. checking the ppms will tell you if you need to flush or not. Lets say you run ten gallons of water through your plant. What do you think will happen to all the lime and soil buffer? Will it stay in the soil or get washed out?okay so. my question is. if flushing isnt bad why not just flush instead of going through all the trouble shooting.
