So, I started growing a plant about a month ago and it's going slow but alright, it has 6 sets of true leaves and is a little over 4 inches. My problem is that I got it started too late; I live in a college dorm and we've gotta get out of here for Christmas, which is a little more than a month from now. I'm probably not gonna be able to transport it back home, and leaving it here for a month is not good. SO my question is, what do I do with it? Could I start the flowering stage now, and would it be ready by then? Or am I going to have to get rid of it? Thanks a bunch for any help

Lol growing in a college dorm is risky, judging by how slow it's growing I'm guessing you have a really shit light or none at all, I'd advise you to kill it asap and wait until you've got your own house to start a real grow with HPS lights and extractor fans
Nah it's not risky at all, I've got a great setup, it's real easy. I've actually got 4 CFL's on it, each about 3 inches away from the plant, and it gets sunlight from a window too. I think it's just a slow-growing strain. I'm not gonna kill it yet, I mean it might not get anywhere but there's no harm in having it grow a little more. I'm not graduating for a few years anyways. HPS lights are more for flowering because they give off red light, but what's an extractor fan?

the only thing i can think of is making trips back and forth once a week to water thouroughly and do maintinence, and u have cfl's so 4 weeks to let it flower is just not nearly enough. however, if u force flower now and harvest in 4 weeks u will still have leaves coated with trichs and some bud formation,so u could at least make hash with what u have....

the HPS would give u alot more light/lumens which wil lead to bigger buds but not necessarily speed up the process a whole lot.. and there are many ways to make hash, use google or search here on RIU
