I can hardly wait. I'm sure there are some of you who are into vermicomposting. I'm into juicing hardcore and have about 1 quart of super shredded sawdust-like pulp from juiced carrots,apples,celery,parsley that I produce from juicing every 2 days.

Good quality grub for the worms and also good for the composting process as it will breakdown faster and be processed faster by the worms because its easier for them to eat and absorb.

What's the best type of worm to go with?

I do it all the time but I made my own bin out of Rubbermaid bins.

There is NOTHING like vermicompost for plants at any age imo.
