Its mama time!

I finally just moved back into a house, had been in an apartment for the last year so was limited to what i could do. my main goal right now is to get mamas started so i can get all my clones for the outdoor season. Met an old guy who has been crossbreeding strains for the last 25 years, and traded him 200 burnt movies for 40 seperate strains. All great strains so he says. His favorites were Bubba KUsh, heavy duty fruity,white widow+great white shark, deisel+Bdui(blueberry and louie), these are just to name a few. I had some feminized trainwreck seeds that i started like a month ago maybe a day or 2 more. The seeds i traded for arent feminized so im starting a few of each strain to get the females sorted out. * strains started so far about 1.5 weeks into veg. will post pics shortly. I had one trainwreck plant that was looking special so i decided to bud that while im waiting to get outdoors. New to this site so this is all for now just wanted to start my first thread. IM using 4 foot flouresecent tubes for seedlings and clones, then under 2 400 w metal halides. bought some 2 by 4`s and built a room in my room. 8 by 5 by 6. this is my veg area.

so here are some pics of what Ive been up to. This is just the begining of the season for me. Im pretty much an outdoor guy!!! Id rather smoke great out door any day as opposed to hydro. Some people are the opposits. Im talkin good outdoor not garbage dope. so im gonna try to put those pics on here now. will put more as time grows by!!

these seedlings are the first batch I started gonna sex down the road . I'm hoping for 2 females each. got seperate spot im gonna keep some males , to mix and match when budding. Strains here are 1. Northern lights#5 * Diesel. 2. afghani hash plant. 3.White widow * great white shark. 4. AK-47 * Russian ruderalis .I am germinating 4 more strains now, Shiskaberry/superskunk * White widow 2. bubblegum 3.White widow* Black domina and 4. Diesel*Bdui( blueberry* louie). will put pics of these on over the next week or 2. all for now, will put on pics of the trainwreck that i am budding its only week 1.

Looks good,what are you doing for air circulation? I wonder about smell too ,you've got some stinky strains happenening there , and might want to think about a carbon filter. I covet some of those mothers,Good Luck and keep on growing!

I cut a hole into the attic and since heat rises what a punch i got when i broke through. The attic has great ventilation. also i cut another hole and made a box with a window fan in it, sealed it and now it draws in fresh air from outside.
will put some pics of that on next time i climb up into that tight ass mother fucker...I have no ladder so i had to put a chair on a table then haul my self up the last 5 feet , wasnt a pretty site... not too worried about the smell most are just for mamas, and on top of that im set way back off the road and the closest house is like 2 km down the road>> so hopefully all will be well.

it is a big help thats for sure, just had a rigged up clost grow at my old apartment so when i moved i spent alot of time finding the perfect house that borders its own 22 acres// so im in heaven this time...

here are a few pics of the trainwreck mama i decided to bud. Its under a 250 hps and the room is 2 by 3, out take is cut through ceiling to attic which is extremely well ventilated. Intake is above veg room. All in all very good circulation. This one was my favorite so i decided to bud it. Its in a 5 gallon pail with sunshine mix #4 soil. Im using Budder-up nutes along with 10-52-10 occasionally. I had a branch break off when I moved and had tied it back on after matching 45 degree cuts on each side. Forgot about the string and just last week I saw a piece of string sticking out of the center of the main stalk. LOL i turned the plant and saw big llump grown over my stupidity. BUt the branch did take and is now healthy as can be. This is only week one of flowering. Will continue to add pics as time goes by. Thanks for checking it out. I had and still have a bit of what i figure is nitrogen defficiency so i got some 15-0-0 and mixed it as per instructions.)(3ml less than suggested per gallon. But it said nothing of how often to apply to the leaves? As a rule I never like to spray my plants while during light cycle. But as my veg room is 24hrs I had to break my rule. But I still have no idea how often I should spray?????????????

OK so now I got my other 400 MH Conversion set up and have moved some seedlings under it! Started 2 more strains(from seed) Black Domina * White widow, and Bubba Kush. Im so excited I already spent all day sat and sun last weekend in the woods beginning the process. This year I have 113 acres all to myself and it is soalone that it is perfect. My goal out of this years harvest is 15-25 lbs. Last year 4 lbs but had no space and it was someone elses land... This year everyting is so so different... me though im all about variety , as well as quality and taste... As most of what i grow I consume I care alot about how it turns out. So it may seem a little early to some outdoor guys or gals like myself, I know there are many of you who are already itching to get things started. Here are some pics of the 2 level seedling & clone spot. The seedlings are in week 2 now. Also pics of new area for seedlings once they outgrow 2nd shelf. Veg room now 2 400 watt MH one is a conversion bulb. My Trainwreck is starting 2nd week of flowering . Pics of that too...

anyone give their opinion on what they prefer for a rooting hormone?? Ive been using wilsons roots(blue gel) always had good luck but im not sure if its an old bottle they had in stock or maybe bad batch ? It might be time to switch??????????????? so what do you use??? Id appreciate it!!

Woody stems,I never had good results with #1 , its for soft stems.

so another week has gone by and things are looking really healthy. SUPER VEG has always treated me well. Got seedlings starting week 4 (germination was week 1) 7 different strains. Have another 4 strains that only sprouted last week, starting to take off. The trainwreck "mother" that i decided to bud is starting its 3rd week of flower. Im using Budder Up for nutes. Buds are starting to form nicely just want time to go by faster. I have spent the last 3 weekends digging and carrying soil so my favorite time of year is just around the corner. Im after 300 clones of about 15 different strains. I just ordered some Violator Kush seeds from Barneys farm seeds as well as Top Dawg so these I will add to my variety. I love BUbba kush so I cant wait to try that Violator. I have been keeping all the lady bugs I can find and now have about 40-50 in among my plants , my spidermite army!!!!lol.. So here are soem more pics, of what Im talkin about. This year I have access to alot of land and I plan on takin advantage of it...
