Its late, I'm tired, something is buggering my plants....

Would love somebody more knowledgeable than myself to give me their opinion.

clones placed in ebb/flow table last week. Tap water is at 20 ppm. Fed them 100ppm of calmag and 100 ppm of botanicare grow. I have been having issues with the ph raising ALLOt during the evening. Like from 5.8 in the evening to 6.8+ in the morning. I believe it is my hydroton (ruled out everything else). I rinsed it off, like a 1,000 fucking times and then soaked all I could grab out of the table without fucking up what little roots the plants have and soaked it hour 2 hours in 5.2 water..hoping to leacdh the acidity.

I have badly curling leaves and some chlorosis on some of the mangos.....

and the jack herrer's are kind of yellowish and lame looking (although they are growing).

and lastly, this blue widow was doing great, now the tips are curling down.

I am thinking either I cam getting lock out of some of the trace minerals due to high ph, OR perhaps I am overfeeding.... The total ppm in the water right now is 300 and inline with what I have read others giving.

The flood cycles are 10min every 2 1/2 hours The hydroton basically dries out in between floods.

just want to get these things to start really growing and looking healthy so I cna stop fucking with them!

cheers!!!

Hey shithead fuck off... Just kidding...not a hydro man myself but hopefully someone will stop by later and help...

careful what you wish for.......

Your hydroton should be PH nuetral. There is no need to soak it, just rinse the dust off. I think the plants would look a lot better with a little SuperThrive.

Funny you should say that as I just bought some. One thing I have run into with it is there are more concentration and usage suggestions out there for super thrive than there are strains of MJ.

I put about 5 drops in a spray bottle and sprayed them with the lights off once. I also added about a tablespoon of it to my Rez yesterday (18 gallon rez).

What are your superthrive prescriptions?

Through a great amount of effort it seems I have been able to attenuate the PH problems. After logging 6 straight hours of working in the grow room I started talking to the plants. I think my parting words were something along the lines of "you know what, fuck you high maintenance bitches". Given how women operate, I think I'll completely ignore them for a couple days. If they think I don't give a shit, they will start coming around.

LOL... they'll be aight. AS for ST, you did ok, a lil in the rez and some in a light foliar spray. It always seems to snap plants out of their funk. I use it very lightly. A $10 bottle last me a long time.

My guess is potassium toxicity, I'd flush the whole rig with water/H2O2 and maybe a leaching agent then just pH'd water 'til they perk up. My .02 cents anyway.

IMO..

I would get a bottle of Flora Nova bloom wich is one bottle you can use for vege and flower with strong ph buffers and no need for additives and I would stop using the cal-mag till flower.
