Back in the day I used to do lots of travelling around the 48 states.I ran into all sorts of crazy people I knew in crazy places.What are your stories?If somebody wants to start I'll post up some of mine in a bit:peace:
 
Also saw Sound tribe 3 shows in a row in 3 different cities in 2009 and somehow ended up standing next to the same guy at every show.

I drove straight from Syracuse to Ventura to see the JGB.Everyone is in hurry to park.I'm getting parked and a random buddy from Syracuse pulls in and parks right next to me.Crazy right?

That's awesome haha I feel like we would get along great slow bus!!! There is a festival in my area that has about 15,000 people and one year I was pulling into the lot and I see a dude with dreads hanging out the passenger window yelling and waving in the car infront of me and dude hops out and runs and jumps in my car and its one of my really good buddies and he pulls a fat sack of boomers out of his gym shorts and hands me some!!!!
 
Hiking the Grand Canyon I was stopped by two girls that wanted to know how much further down the switchbacks they had to go. Turns out they were from my city on the other side of the country.

my friend and his dad and I were mining way north of Fairbanks at a public spot.In the morning the dad got outta his tent.I heard him say "wtf are you doin here" This lady goes "nothin,wtf are YOU doing here?"They were friends from HS and ran into eachother 40 years later 5000 miles from school.
 
Got talking to this guy in a mountain side cafe while skiing in the alps. About half a year later ran into him at a random campsite back in the UK. :rolleyes:

I was with this chick and went to jail, in the meantime she's fucking this dude in my house in my bed, the prick steals my clothes and car stereo, cooks the motor whilst thrashing my car, so a few months later I'm living at this place with some pretty hard core bros and guess who walks in? and he sits there and introduces himself to me without a clue.
 
My best friend married a soldier and left our town, we hadn't seen each other for 30yrs until I met her for lunch last week, we both have grown up families and she had been divorced from her husband for a few years now. It turns out she had been in a relationship with my son in laws father after her divorce, my son in law had grown up without his fathers presence as his parents had got divorced. As she sat their telling me about this man she had been in a relationship with my daughter and son in law were away visiting this same man. It was so weird.
 
I've coached Baseball, Little League etc through the years...
All in Southern Cal OC...my first year in OC was 1991 team in Placentia CA...
I moved back To New York for family reasons...in 2010
I met the woman I am living with here in New York...in 2010
She spent 20 years in Az before she moved back here to help her family...
A kid off my 1991 OC Team, and her son went to High School and played on his Az High School team....... and knew him well...
We meet in NY.... it was meant to be....

Our car broke down in the front* of an old folks home. When we walked up to ask to use the phone 2 women where picking feathers off a dead pigeon and said "hello" to us every 3-5 seconds that we stood there saying hello back. True story.
