It's a girl

This is my first thread on here so if I make any mistakes let me know.
I had gotten the itch to grow my own a while ago and before I found this site I started a couple of seeds in peat pucks in one of those 2 piece plastic seed starter trays in a window sill.
It wasn't long after that I realized that I left them in there too long as the stems were stretching I then made the mistake of transplanting them into a rectangular planter something like a window box to give you an Idea using some inexpensive potting soil, I had read somewhere that I should use a fan on them so I did but since the stems were stretched they soon couldn't stand up on their own so I propped them up using some bamboo skewers that I snapped in half to give them some support.
Next I became concerned over the possibility thaty I was overcrowding them in the planter and replanted them into 6" pots but I used Miracle Grow potting soil which I later found out was the wrong thing to do I lost 2 plants to shock.
I also used a root stimulater with hormones to ease the transplant this seemd to work well, I them next added some nutrients (Advanced Nutrients Sensi Grow) forgetting that the damn potting soil had nutes in it so I burned the tips of the lower leaves I then used only plain rain water, the rain water is supposed to have the correct PH levels as I don't have Ph test kit and the only Hydroponic store near me is an hour and a half away.
To give you an Idea of what my setup is as far as lighting goes I'm using a 2 tube 4' fl fixture with 2 t-12 plant/aquarium tubes I didn't realize that I could use the T-5 tubes which I'm told are High Output tubes I'm thinking of buying those soon well as soon as I can find them locally.
Out of the origonal 6 plants I have 4 left and they vary in size from 6" tall to about a foot tall the taller one I was feeling fairl certain was a male andhad the urge to either seperate it or kill it but since I wasn't sure I resisted the urge to do it in.
And I'm glad I did I took a few pictures of it yesterday and got the Idea to turn on a small radio for the plants I set it to a classic rock station and left them alone overnight to do their thing and when I woke up this morning I almost fell over my tallest plant had two white pistols I had to rub my eyes to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing and yes it seems to be a girl. the other three still show no sign of sex yet but I really thought the tall one was a male and am very glad I waited I also took my shortest one and moved it out of the room to a window to see if it helped getting it to go on a groth spurt so far after two days it seems to be a little taller I noticed it had started to lean towards the window yesterday so I rotated it 180 degrees to compensate and it straightened up as of today the window gets full sun all day so it's still on a 16/8 schedule like the other plants.
I also invested in a hydroponic system and started 6 seeds directly into the rockwool cubes and they've sprouted I noticed that they were leaning towards the sun and turned them 180 degrees as well and they're doing well I'm interested in seeing the difference between the two types of growing I'm using a bubbleponic system I bought on ebay for about $57.00 including shipping but am still concidering buying the fluorescent kit from Stealth Hydro the bulbs look massive and have read Rosemans grow thread with much interst.
Anyway here's the pics of my plants in soil.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
I tried to upload them from my comp but had to use an external link they're a little large but the detail is pretty good.
I'm planning on adding additional lighting but not any of the HPS or MH fixtures they're just too darn hot and I don't trust them in a closet.
