I disagree. I do this with certain strains and it works great. AK47 with apple juice is insane. It works better for some strains than others. Either way it will not harm your plants if you take it EASY on them. Start very small, like 2 tblsp per gallon in week 3 flower and work your way up. I would cut off at 1/2 cup per gallon max for your first time although I regularly push it to full cup per gallon. What strain are you considering this for?

i use Grandma mollasses (no sulphor!!!) you can purchase at most grocery store i would imagine...

I do soiless... coco or spaghnum moss and perlite. I got the idea from the thread below a long time ago. I think he uses soil.

yes this is the same thread that made me try it. but in my experince, with only one plant it did nothing but create mold on the top of the soil. but i did only try it once. maybe ill give it another go.

Yea to tell you the truth I know that guy very well... but from another forum. He doesn't post on RIU anymore. But long story short I was able to try his buds before I tried the technique on my own plants. He had some NL#5 that it worked awesome with and also the AK47 which I grow as well. So I started trying it too on all my strains. Since then I've found it works best with strains that are already a little fruity. Lemon Skunk is the best I've found yet. If the OP wants a strain that truly tastes like biting into a fresh apple then go with Lemon Skunk and a little AJ in the water. It's apple madness. I never had a mold problem with it.

yea im sure the mold was probly just from my lack of care. also the strain i used was not fruity, but very dank skunky. maybe thats why i didnt get the effects i wanted.
im gonna experiment more with some fruity strains...

why? How is it any different than other sweetener products? Most juices and other drinks will not work but apple juice does.
