Is turning a male plant hermy a good/plausible idea?

I don't have a male plant. I was just asking for future refrence. It isn't always practical to just start over, I don't have much growing opportunity.

OK...it MIGHT be possible to do if your injecting female hormones into the male...but just turing a male plant hermie is like...well...just plain supid!:joint::mrgreen:

thays what i was trying to get at,, a complete waste for time.. save your electricity and go and buy a dime bag,, you will get more and a better high with that than you will ever with a "male hermie"

im not going searching around for a link about something i dont care about.. im not arguing saying it is possible... but if you can turn a female hermie then why couldnt you turn a male hermie? if you want to waste your time looking for a link to prove you cant then be my guest,, but im not wasting my time over something i dont care about,,,, i will never in my life try to turn a male hermie so i dont care....
 
seed sex is determined just like humans are.

some seeds are fem some are male its just luck really

fems can be turned into a hermy but a male will always be a male
 
yep boys will be boys. females can be turned hermy by stress and shit... but males can't be turned the other way.
