Is this ready?

I felt confident with the clear, cloudy, amber trichome technique but now i read its not the best way and im confused.

any guidance on this plant or harvest timing in general?

Noticed first pistils on 5/25, so 4 weeks and a few days of flowering

Well most are 8 week min flowering so if you’re about 4 in you’re also about 4 away. bongsmilie

The seedshop said 70 days. So i should expect 12wks vs. 10wks?

Seed shops lie. Under perfect conditions, lighting, etc maybe. I would expect about 4 more weeks.

Seed packaging will be a guideline, a very loose guideline. Even if all environmental variables were accounted for the times on packages will still be off usually. Definitely need to learn to let the plant tell you when shes ready, theres also the type of smoke you have, you could cut them early/"on time"/late for different types of highs So it really comes down to preference during those last week or two. Do you have a magnifying glass / jewelers loupe? Something with like 40x-120x magnification to be able to check the heads of the trichs

i do amd thought i saw some amber, hence this post. ive been looking for images of what it should look like when harvest is ready. I havent had much luck, do any of you huys have links to some?

You want to be looking at the buds and not the leaves. Also get a view from the side, not the top of the mushroom shaped trichome. Anywhere in between the last 3 is preference really.... Cut a little bit at a time and keep track of it so you can narrow down what you like.
