Is this ready to harvest?

I have a plant that was given to me about 3 weeks ago. The person who gave it to me told me shes been on a 12/12 for 2-3 weeks. This last week all of the little white hairs have turned reddish brown. Is it ready to harvest? I have pics but since im using my phone i cannot post. If u want to see them give me your email

you can upload pictures directly to the forum. Just click the picture button beside the film looking button in the quick reply area. If most of the hairs are brown, like 80%+ then you're good to harvest. But if you get a magnifier at about 60x to 100x you can look at the crystals and tell more accurately if they're ready to harvest. They are ready when the crystal heads are cloudy. If you want an indica style couchelock then wait for most of the crystals to turn brown/amber

Yes, cut it down

get atleast a 60x magnifying glass and look at the trichomes or you will never know exactly when to harvest. I've never heard of a plant that took less than 7 weeks to flower so I would definitely keep it growing. if you know whether it is more indica or sativa that would also help with preparing for harvest time.

TIP: Do the research before you take on a job like that..just because we know what to do doesn't mean you shouldn't go and find the info yourself. too many people think they can just grow weed without knowing how to take care of it. good luck
