is this pot big enough? coco mats? pic

I was thinking about taking a shorter walled tub. put a coco mat in the bottom of the tub. then cut holes in the bottom of the pot. or just remove the bottom.. place that on the coco. Perhaps layers of coco and vermiculite built up like a lasagna. the roots on the bottom could be feed a different solution to encourage growth into the coco


any thoughts??
