this is a meter i got from a friend. the water i use ph'd at almost 7, and the pot phd at about 6. is that ok?

its a cheap meter but it will get you in the ball park. its better then nothing. and i think you want a ph or to be around 6.8 for soil.

no thats not good if ur doing soil it should be like 6.5 or so if hydro 5.8 buddy that meter wil work but buy a better one

Nope dont even bother with that thing, And its not for use in water, soil only. They arent even within 3 full points on the ph. The moisture gauge works great, so does the light meter, the ph is way way fucking off.

yeah your better off with a drop test ph if your short on cash, and get some ph down acid, just a few drops will do it
