is this ok to do?

i have a leaf with soem yellow on the tip...is it ok if a snip that little bit off?

yes or even the whole leaf, but the yellow aint gona hert her

don't forget though it will slow your growth for a few days...depending on how many you chop off...the plant goes into shock and needs time to heal.

I would leave it alone unless atleast 50% of the leaf is damaged.
My last grow i found out the hard way...The more i trimed and messed with my plants the worst it got. And like homegrownboy said it will take some time for your plant to recover..And like pacman said it wont hurt your plant to leave it alone...

My rule is...If you touch it and it falls off....it was its time.
Otherwise is may just be replacing old fan leaves with new undergrowth.....and it will pull the nutes from the old leaves to do this leaving them dryed up. So i just leave them unless they are infested with mites or something. when you touch it and it comes off...its all good, as long as you have fresh healthy undergrowth.

I have learned something very important in my short time here. The less you mess with it the better off you are. dont over mother it. it's a weed and will do ANYTHING to survive. Give it the right envoronment and it barley even needs you.

I have to agree here. Its probably not going to damage your plant being yellow but clipping it will slow the growing down some.
