Is this ok?: CFL Bulbs

I was just wondering, if the light fixture says that it is a 60 watt and you have a 26 watt CFL bulb is it ok to use? Because the regular light bulbs that are 100w convert to a 26w CFL bulb.
 
I'd presume so, isn't that how much it can go up to?

Don't take my word for it tho, but im sure it'd be okay. Run it for like an hour or summin next to your computer and see what happens ;)
 
60 watt rating for socket is how much wattage it can use before heat causes a problem

26 watt cfls are actual wattage being used so using a Y in a 60 watt socket is totally ok
 
ur only using 26w, so yes you can u can actually add a Y socket and add 1 more so you have 2 26w...52w total
