Ok that's good to hear. What kind of distance should I keep the light away? Right now I'm about 20". I'm a little new to this.

Depends what the light is. Can be anything from a few inches. Up to a few feet. CFLs can be really close. COBs need about a foot- foot and a half. And things lije LECs/HPS/MH need at least that foot and a half.

I'm using the vivosun my 600 watt.

Which is what? does it have a big bulb in it or LED/COB looking lights? I work with COBs.

-Edit- derp. Probably HID lights.


Give them at least a foot and a half between lights and canopy.

Yeah it's the hid metal halide bulb. Then when I induce flower I will put in the 600w hps.
