Is it susposed to be growing curved like that at first? it looks purple/brown but the top of it is green

Some will grow like that yes. I've never seen such dark colors on a seedling before though, but it should be fine. As long as it's got green leaves, the stem is of no matter at this time.

P.S.- Assuming the 1st and 2nd picture are the same plant, you'll be A-O.K.

yes its the same plant but the green faces down.

how long until it stands up straight?

should stand tall in a day or two don't worry looks good..

btw how much light should i give it and how far away should it be?

I have 26 watt CFLs. how many should i use?

keep them 1 inch or less away, use alot.
