IS this normal?

I recently got busted by the police with a half ounce of weed. Because it was my first offence and i live in canada it was essentially pardoned. (The bust itself was a terrifying experience for me, but the cop was probably one of the coolest guys i've ever met, he knew i was stoned out of my skull when he busted me, and he just kept purposely saying the most random shit to make me laugh.
But anyways, After that night i immediatly said "I'm never going to smoke weed again!" After a couple days im already wanting to do it again, before i got busted i had money set aside for a bong. I REALLY want to go and get that bong that i was so excited for, and i want to start smoking weed again. Is it normal that im gunshy as hell? I feel like if i had weed on me in public now, i'd be suspicious as hell.

*edit* Maybe i'll stick to buying less quantities than a half ounce.

I would think it's a natural reaction to be cautious. My brother got pinched in january and he's already made it pretty clear that he's afraid to buy again because he doesn't want to get caught. Just be humble and be responsible, and you should be fine. Don't be out driving around high.
