this is in the 6th week flower (roughtly) most of all the trichs are cloudy under the the scope, ive managed to get the run off ph to 7.43, it was 7.02, it was cheep soil that was used, i got this plant about 3 weeks into flower, im not sure on exact dates or nothing, its a big buddah cheese, ive flushed it and the problems still persist, so i tried more food and it seems to have helped a small bit.

i read some where that this is a seven to eight week strain, also read somwhere else that this is an eight to ten strain.

anyway what do you guys think of this? do you think it has long left? and do you think the leaves are dying cause it is getting near the end of its life?

i forgot to metion that when i got this plant the dude had cut all the fan leaves from the main stem when it was in its second week flowering, i made another post about that as some of you will remember.

thanks

We need a little more info.

Temp?
Light?
Nutes?
Feeding schedule?
Humidity?

To me it looks like it could be humidity / heat stress. Could also be coupled by some nitro deficiency since you said problems persist after flushing. Any one of these three or all three could be your issue. Just give us a touch more info. :)

You need to fix the PH before watering and this might help to know when to harvest.
As the plant matures the new calyx (flower) will form making new hairs. As each calyx ripen the pistals in those individual calyx will shrivel and receed back. You're going to see a bunch of new calyx form with new hairs that shrivel, that's what makes up the bud. When it come time to harvest you're going to be looking for a number of things at once, not just the trich color like everyone says, there's more to it.
Here's the order the plant matures so you know what to expect-

1. calyx and pistals form
2. pistal hairs turn color and shrivel back to calyx wihich will have started swelling
3. calyx swell with resin
4. **Now is when to look for trich color**

The trichomes can start changing color from the time they develope so you can't rely on just that to judge harvest time.

Hope that helps, don't rely on a date on the calender to know when to harvest, plant's don't work that way.

thanks for the reply guys, i will give all you guys + rep, just noticed i put the ph as being 7 lol i ment 6, sorry for the confususon, i was advised in another thread a few weeks ago to move the ph from 6.02 up to 6.5, so im pretty sure 6.43 is ok

NUTES
are bio bizz bloom, been using 2 ml per litre but after the flush since they never recoverd i gave them a little more, 4 ml per litre seems to help a small bit, i have not got a feeding schedule because ever since i have had the plant i have been trying to get it right but nothing seems to help

LIGHT
its a 250 watt hps, digital ballast, has a super lumens switch on it, i have never turned the switch on yet though. its from lumatek, the bulb is from the same company

TEMP and HUMIDITY
the temp nevere goes above 83 with the lights on and its getting lower week as the winter is coming, when the lights are off the temp is about 65, the humidy is roughtly between 35 and 45 lights on and about 60 70 when lights are off

temps a bit high mate will dry the resin, try spraying with a solution of some sort or increase the fans bubs will dry out if to hot,, or lift your light if you can..

Honestly I wouldn't be worried about the temp too much your night time humidity is pretty high. Try running a fan during the night to get some of that humidity out. Other than that the only thing I suggest is watching her closely and maybe turn your ac down a lil more to make the ambient air cooler during lights on.

Hope this helps.

yeah i agree withe the night time humidity, i have the exhaust fan come on for 5 mins evry hour through the night as i have to sleep in the room that the tent is in, even though its an acoustic super silent fan the noise of the airflow is pretty loud so i cant really keep it on through the night.

when do you think the cut off point should be, as in when will it start decreasing the potency of the buds, if the small leaves round the buds start to die should i just harvest or......?
