dont get it... as a matter of fact I wouldnt buy any computer that isnt an apple for the next 6 months...
and im not pimping apple either.
why is this you ask?

there is now only one major manufacturer of IBM-based PC's in north america, and there name is foxconn.
foxconn produces the pc's and loads them with software and puts them in there brand appropriate packaging.
they manufacture, under liscence, Dell, Gateway, Acer, and many many other names you see on the shelves at best buy and wal mart.
the same conglomorate has another company, called GenCo, that handles all the returns and reclamation from the same brands.
genco is also a client of mine....
So foxconn just moved 100% of there production to mexico.
I know this because I set up a considerable amount of there automated control systems for there plant in juarez.
this plant is quite possibly the filthiest manufacturing facility i have ever set my eyes on, and the hygiene of most of the workers is extremely poor, the plants sewer system is soo bad they are not allowed to flush toliet paper... you can see the flies before the smell hits you, its pretty bad.
also the local conditions in juarez are not exactly the best for an electronics manufacturer, sand, dust and grime are the way of things there.(however the local economy is great! they pay 8$ a day for skilled production workers, 6$ for general labor) since this is 'a brand new facility' (mebbe during the spanish american war) they have problems with establishing protocols and proper filtration systems to keep this dust out. they know this, but are in full operation to get production up to pay for the plant...

at the end of the day you will appreciate my comment if you by that computer.

"mac users swear by their computers, whilst PC users just swear at theirs!"

Nothing is free in this world...did you get it with a phone contract or something?
My brothers friend gave it to me I think I know where he got it though. They knew its a piece of shit so they just gave it away.I actually fixed it up pretty good I put tiger on it and got it running alot faster then it normally was.I had it for about 3 years now.

In the meantime amazon needs to fucking e-mail me back:wall:
