Its time to sew a new tent. What would you guys think about this material for a tent?
The tent will be in a aircon room, and have ventilation.
Thanks alot,

Is that some type of insulation? I think that Heath Robinson uses the same sort of stuff on his vertical so I imagine it would be ok. Sewing your own tent is pretty full on, haha, probably easier to build a cabinet out of timber or MDF and using mylar sheets on the inside or just painting is flat white. That's how I build big rooms.
If the main reflective material is aluminum than I don't think so?... I don't know what that is exactly but I believe that using aluminum foil creates hot spots that can burn your plants which is why most people either use mylar or panda film... I'm not completely 100% sure on this though...
I usually just use Panda film or take mylar and glue it to some canvas for toughness and make a room out of that if I know I'm going to be using it for a while and I dont need to move anything around...
No, im not gonna sew my own tent. But here it cost almost nothing to have it made, and then i get it the size, shape and so on that i want If i want Mylar i will have to order it online. So i would prefer to use these reflective insulation blankets. Does all kind of aluminium as reflection give hot spots?
I dont speak the language here, Businesses usually dont have homepages, nobody would know what it is. And there are no stores i can think of that have it. But im keeping my eyes open for that too. I found the fabric in the attached pictures too. But i have a hard time seeing that as a good alternative. Its kind the same material as many motorbike seats and so on. Pictures of both sides.
Cheers,
