Is this good for a 1 week old?

The picture is kinda bright but it's a minty green, and it's about 4 inches tall. Is this good, or is it slowed? I got it on a 20/4 schedule with mostly sunlight but incandescents while it's dark. I know it's gay but it's all I can afford right now. Any tips? The incandescents aren't working that bad btw

Won't that have a possibility of burning the plant. Remember incandescents give off heat so I don't want to burn them. Still good idea you think?

if you can hold your hand where the plant is under the light then they will be fine. your plants are stretched reaching for more light. For as tall is that is you should have a few nodes already.

keep it outside. The incandescents do nothing. If you want cheap lights go to walmart they have 2700k 26W CFL for .92 cents. get as many as you can and put htem 3 inches from your plant.

Dont get 2700k until you flower.

Go buy 4 26w 6500k. Use two to start off. Keep em 2" away.

DITCH THE INCANDESCENT BULBS NOW!

Walmart has 2700k CFL Bulbs on sale for .92 each. I know 6500k are better for vegging but 2700k is better than an incandescent by a loooooooong shot. I did my 1st grow with 2700k before I knew any better and they worked well enough that I never looked to see if I could do better on lighting.

Yes but 2700k contains so little blue light its almost pointless.

I went to lowes got a 4 pack of 26w 6500k for 10$
