just woundering if 6-14 watt cfl lights an 9.5 watt warm white led and a 10 watt fish tank bulb is good enough for 2 plants. is it?

If you aren't looking for a crazy yield and just practicing growing before upgrading to HID or higher powered LEDs...
That will work fine.
You'll need a fan blowing directly on the bulbs to keep the temp down a bit. bring them as close to the plants as you can to keep them from stretching too much.

Good Luck

Unless you have pictures to prove this absolutely miraculous production, or you have financial interest in selling the company's wares, overselling a product to people without proof of such claims isn't helpful.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but it's true. I'll retract my statement if you can back up the claim for sure.

I'm a near total newb myself, but I've had one successful harvest, and can speak to the efficiency of household CFLs. I started an all LED grow, and added CFLs at flower. Later, I decided to test each bulb. Under a light meter I measured at 3, 4, 5, and 6" away a 1600 lumen/23 watt CFL and an 1100 lumen/19 watt LED with the plastic bubble housing removed. The LED produced nearly 3 times as much light as CFL at 5", which is about the right distance so the fresh shoots don't burn. CFLs can be bright , but only when too close to the tops. Factor in electrical usage and bulb life, and LEDs are much cheaper long term. I like Kobi brand 5000 and 2700Ks for $16 each.

Womp, ... more curiously, if you live on the Big island, why grow indoors? You should be rockin some huge sativas in volcanic soil and brilliant sunshine!

No, plants absorb about 85% of LED lights compared to around 15% from HID. I got 15 oz dry from 2 T bombs grown to 50 cm each before flowering. LED lights work.

I have pictures of t bombs during flowering with my LED light, i dont have final weight pictures. Im using it again for my next grow so if you want pictures I'll be happy to post some on. I use canna food all the way through.
Im not interested in selling that company's product Im in the UK and had it sent over here and was more then happy with the results. The 180 UFO is the equivalent of a 600 watt HPS, so imagine. HPS where over 85% of the light is used by the plant, instead of just 15% thats why I had a good yield.
you need to bear in mind that alot of LED lights people use is crap made in china. I was well aware of this when looking for LEDs so really looked around. You can get decent yields in good growing conditions and with experience also and that also played a part in my yields.

For 1itsme, It's not scam a 180 is equivalent to 600 watts of HPS. Do your research before stating your facts. There are scam lights out there but like I have stated do research and look into what you are buying.

im a firm believer in LED lights but even im skeptical of a 15oz 1 plant 50cm tall harvest, pics plz

image.jpgFlowered at 50 cm obviously it peaked at over a metre that was 15 dry from 2 thc bombs. That was when it was at around 6 weeks i chopped at 9.
Grown in a dr90 the taller one behind was an old kush seed only got 4 dry from that. Used sea crop and black strap through flowering, the only light in there was my UFO 180 jumbo. As i said earlier I havent pictures with weight down i have 5 plants in a new tent now 3 weeks into flower i will gladly show pictures when they are complete with them on scales.
