I am about to upgrade my grow and I was hoping I could get some help on the lighting. Ive never had to cover this much space so I am not sure what will work the best. Currently I have 8 place, 4 in flower, 4 in veg. My goal is double that. I want to have 8 in flower and 8 in veg.
For the veg part im using a 3 1/2" by 3 1/2" box. My plan is to line them in a row and use a 400watt Metal Halide on them. Should I have more space or maybe more light? Just trying to figure out what would work best.
For the flower part of my grow i have about 8ft. by 3 3/4". Rite now I am currently only using half of this room to house 4 mature plant and they seem to be working quite nicely in this space. However, my lighting plan for 8 plants is going to be Two 600 Watt HPS lights. A total amount of 1,200Watts of HPS lighting.
Will this veg space/lighting and flower space/lighting be enough to accommodate 8 plants in flower and 8 plants in veg? Please let me know what you think!
