Will 3 26W 6500k CFL's meet the requirements for a 3' x 2' x 2' grow box?
78W total

(Also the box is lined with aluminum foil)

thats a good size space for only 3 lights..i mean itll work..but youre gonna want more lights.especially for flowering.

Use reflective insulation instead of aluminum, aluminum burns. You can get huge sheets of it at lowes for 11$. I'd suggest using five of those bulbs but three will do. More light, more grow :3.

This guys light strip setup is ideal - https://www.rollitup.org/stealth-micro-cab-growing/475570-penyajos-pc-grow-dna-genetics.html

Just make sure your power strip has large gaps for the bulbs to fit next to each other, the bulb/socket adaptors are only $.50 at walmart, $2 at lowes.

Personally I suggest go getting some Mylar (an emergency blanket at walmart very cheap) because its more reflective then tin foil. But the general rule of thumb is 100w per plant when using CFLs, and dont let the plants get too tall seeing as how CFLs only have 2-3" of penetration

tinfoil does burn. but with high wattages. you wont get hotspots with cfls like you would with hid.

I grew with cfls and for the small investment in more lights you will be paid back in spades in bud growth. With cross the more the better, also I would try to honey comb the lights so as much tube surface as possible is sending lumens on your ladies.
