is this dwc or ebb n flo?

i built a 5'x6' table with 4 '' pvc on top 25 3'' holes with net pots, bubblers in each of the 5 5' 4'' tubes, and a resevoir underneath that pushes water up into the tubes once a day but the tubes always have 2and1/2'' of water in them...the roots of the plants are filling up the 4'' pvc half way into flowering.. is this an ebb n flow or deep water culture or have i kind of combined them into one?

Sounds like an inefficient nft system. You could probably modify it a bit and get it running correctly. Unless you have air pumps in your pvc pipes you really dont want your plants roots sitting in that stagnant water.

yea unless that water is moving,the roots growing will cause pooling of the allready stagnant water,eventually inviting rot..id tilt one end higher than the other so it would completely drain,and rig the higher end to recieve a hose that pumps the nutes into that end...just get the water moving somehow..

yes, each of the 5' 4inch pvc's have 5 bubblers inside them. so 25 bubblers. 1 under each of the pots, water is very airated then once a day new water is pumped up from the resevoir reciculating the water, the resevour also contains 2 bubble wands and a pump just to keep the water moving 24 hours a day. plants are getting big about 3 foot tall each overhead i have 2 400 watt hps with cool tubes and 2 200 cpm inline fans pushing the air through the tubes and out the roof...are you suggesting that i keep the water pump on all the time recirculating from the tubes to the res constantly? i figuered with all the air stones once a day was plenty. I have a bloombox from bc northern lights, and that is dwc. So my set up is kind of a cross isnt it? its working very well so far but dwc or ebb n flow? Also like i said the roots of each plant are huge beautifully white colored, water is definately not stagnent and i check the ph daily and keep it between 5.5 and 6.2. I change the resevoir with fresh water and general hydroponics nova series pluss koolbloom and mad farmer N.U.T.S EVERY WEEK.The last 2 weeks of flower i just use ph balanced water plus g.h. kleen and at 8 weeks the leaves are yellowing so i know all the nutrients are gone. right now i have 6 critical hog, 11 northern lights and 8 blue mystic.s in there.

So far it seems the northern lights are my best producers they only need 1 week of veg and 8 weeks flowering wile the critical hog is producing the same weight it need 4 weeks of veg because it doesnt stretch in flower. the blue mystic needs 2 weeks veg and 9 weeks in flower buds are heavy but hard to trim very leafy but the chrystal production is outrageous. all have a good high but the critical hog is very narcotic, total body meltdown. the nl good equal body mind high. blue mystic very flavorfull and a bit trippy good daytime stuff. i just started durban poison, afghani, mighty grape, and mellon gum but still need to find the males from females and take cuttings probably a few months before i know what they can do or produce... oh and just popped 2 feminized seeds of criticall mass from cbd crew.. anybody have input on these strains? production,stretchy?high?
