Is this bud rot?

The pictures I saw on google looked similar but wanted to be sure before I started tossing out buds.

I can't see bud rot, try focusing on the bud instead of your finger lol

Stupid phone wouldn't focus correctly. I thought I read that that browning is rot. I hope I'm overreacting because it seems like a lot of the top main colas have that look.

it is. there is mold on it. i can see it. cut it out and do not dry with the rest of the plant. set it aside if you safely cut it ALL out and you can sample the rest still

What would be the worst outcome if i accidentally had some in a jar and smoked it? I'm not 100% sure what this disease actually looks like. I think one of the two plants main colas were affected so I'm tossing those. But the smaller buds seem alright but I can't say that with 100% assurance.

not sure what would be the outcome, but nothing good that's for sure! Don't smoke it!!! and remove all the rotten weed from the jar or else it will spread!

I think I got it all. Possibly threw away some that wasn't infected just to be sure.
