Is this bud rot?

Hey guys i just cut off a branch because i had some dried up curled leaves from 1 of my colas.. I'm at about 7 weeks i think (started 12/12 8 weeks ago) and i've been feeding biobizz grow/bloom, and i gave a light dose of pk 13/14 around week 5.

Heres the bit of bud i cut off that i suspected rot on..

And heres a couple snaps of the rest of the plants

So im just wondering if thats definitely rot? i saw no white color with this btw, no mold or anything, just brown patch dead spots. Is it rot? or could i have burned the bud?

My humidity is 50-55%

Temps 72-77f

Strain - NL

Medium - Peat based all purpose compost with added lime

Sigh, just when i think i have my conditions pretty much optimum. I honestly dunno how i can improve them anymore. i got 2 oscillating fans in there, a 350cfm extractor/light cooler, inline from outside, 1000w of hps.. /sad panda

get a dehumidifier. Or water your plants less. Either theyre getting too much water and expelling it/its evaporating out of the pot, or your humidity in there is just too high.

Once you bring your humidity down to about 40% its almost hard to get mold.

Your hygrometer looks to be at light level. Perhaps drop it down to where the tops of the plants are... maybe you think you have a nice environment, but it's not at plant level?

Just a thought...

I do agree with the dehumidifier though...

the box itself is up higher yeah but it has a probe that hangs down to canopy level which takes temp readings.

The probe doesnt take humidity readings, thats why there are usually a few slits on the side or bottom of the main screen/box ofthe thermometer.

Yeah i know, but i honestly didnt think a canopy level hygrometer would be required? I thought humidity was pretty much ambient only. And if anything the humidity should be lower around the plants because its in the direct airflow of the oscillating fans?

yeah that's mold for sure.... aka budrot..... cut all that shit out and spray the infected area with a 50/50 mix of 3% hydro. peroxide and water.. increase ur airflow has well.. buy sme green cure to bro....

Thanks but unfortunately i have no peroxide, i have however bumped up the oscillating fans a couple of notches.

your gonna want somethong t kill the spores u cant see..... how the fuck do u not have peroxide?? ur a rubbing alcohol kind of guy? lol

Lol, i've never needed it until now i guess, honestly i thought just rectifying the airflow problem would negate the ability for further mold to produce, no ?

It was just a small patch, singular, so it was pretty minor. I'm just a paranoid stress whore over this grow because my last 2 grows were meh (used cfls)

airflow helps for sure..... but If I was you id take out my plants spray them with something to kill any potential mold spores on them.. and also clean out your grow area to clean out any potential mold spores on it......... try to drop ur humidity lower then 50 to....

Iv got insecticides, thats all lol. I won't be recleaning the tent until after harvest and before next crop. I'll just hope for the best, i'm almost done anyway.
