I have a 400w mh running in my closet hanging about 13 inches above the pots. Both wide 1 gallon pots but I didn't have enough ocean forest to completely fill them. But they are filled enough. I just got done pushing the two seeds an inch into the soil dampening the soil every 10-15 minutes because it seems to keep drying each time I spray it. I'm using tap water, I tested the ph, 6.8 but I don't like tap water because its really chlorinated. Trying to get better water.
My closet door is cracked a little ways for now until I get a fan to put in the crack of the door for circulation of the air and strong stems. I'm going to keep the light on 24 hours for a couple days until it looks like vegging time than I will switch to 18/6. Or 20/4, haven't decided which would be better or worth the bill. I'm trying to get some mylar for the walls. I have a hps to switch to for flowering. And I have fertilizers for after the first month. I have a thermometer to check temperature.
I'm growing an Afghan Kush seed and a Cali hash seed.
My question is what things should I be stressing on right now and what things are important to keep in mind and look for and fucking just be careful of so I don't screw it up??? Because I partnered up with this one dude, he gave me all the equipment cus he couldn't find a place and I don't wanna screw up his seeds.
so many questions.... I'm worried it'll fail or get mold or somethin'...
